Education Outside the Classroom (EOTC)
At Panyaden, we believe that the world is our classroom. Some of the most powerful learning happens when students step outside to explore, discover, and make a difference in the community. To enrich student learning, we offer a variety of trips and journeys that complement our curriculum and encourage real-world connections.

Field Trip
Students take field trips around Chiang Mai about twice per term, visiting places like the Museum of Insects and Natural Wonders, Doi Suthep National Park, Narit AstroPark, and Elephant PooPooPaper Park. These excursions bring classroom concepts to life while developing all four areas of the Panyaden Profile.

Journeys
Journeys challenge students at developmentally appropriate levels, building resilience, leadership skills, and self-confidence. Upper Primary and Secondary students learn essential outdoor skills such as hiking, camping, and wilderness cooking through exciting overnight trips at a local campground or national park.

Service Learning Trips
Service learning trips connect students with local communities through hands-on projects. Students help plan the trips, identify needs, and implement solutions, aligning their efforts with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and Panyaden values. These experiences cultivate agency, responsibility, and global citizenship.
