Child Protection and Safeguarding

Safeguarding is holistic and integrated into all aspects of school life, ensuring a consistently protective and caring space. We believe every child has the right to feel secure and protected, and we uphold this through practices that honour each individual’s dignity. This responsibility is shared by staff, volunteers, parents, and external agencies, working collaboratively with ethical integrity. Strong leadership guides our safeguarding framework, with members of the Senior Leadership Team overseeing child protection.

All staff members undergo comprehensive annual safeguarding training and stringent background checks to ensure that only trusted, qualified adults are entrusted with the care of our students. Our child protection policies, protocols, and procedures are robust, regularly reviewed, and fully aligned with international best practices.

Our wider community also plays an active role: parents agree to safeguarding policies at enrolment, visitors follow safety protocols, and we partner with local and international agencies to maintain high standards. Policies are reviewed annually to stay responsive and effective.

At Panyaden, safeguarding is a core commitment rooted in Buddhist values of compassion, mindfulness, and non-harming. Our policies create a safe, nurturing environment where every child is valued, respected, and supported to thrive academically, emotionally, and morally.

The approach to safeguarding reflects our mission to nurture a mindful, compassionate community where children learn, grow, and flourish safely and respectfully at Panyaden.

Together, we are dedicated to creating and maintaining an exceptional learning environment where all students feel safe, valued, and empowered to thrive.

All staff receive regular training and are committed to promptly and confidentially identifying, reporting, and responding to concerns, using tools like CPOMS or email reports to safe@panyaden.ac.th. Issues involving staff or community members are handled with sensitivity and confidentiality, supported by clear procedures to protect vulnerable children and adults.
