Today our Kindergarten 2 class and teachers enjoyed collecting leaves around the school yard as part of their social contribution activities (caring for their environment and keeping the school tidy). It was also a good opportunity for them to learn about Panyaden wise habits, Caga (being generous) and Chanda (doing their best in the moment; being enthusiastic when completing their tasks).
We recently added more books to our library. During the first week of school, every class started with lots of reading activities with their classmates (buddy reading: existing and new students sharing their favourite books with each other).
When it was moral stories reading time, Kru Ou chose the book, “The Crow and the Pitcher”. A thirsty crow comes upon a pitcher with water at the bottom, beyond the reach of its beak. How can he drink from the jar without falling in? Our students pondered this problem and shared their ideas. Moral of the story: effort and persistence are important if we want to be successful.

Our little ones in Nursery sang songs this morning and incorporated their names into the words. They also made flowers with colour paper glued onto used CDs and stuck photos of their faces onto their very own flower. Fun activities to help them get to know their classmates!

We are delighted to announce that the school was awarded a ‘Good’ rating from the Office of the Private Education Commission. The Office’s Internal Quality Assurance team assessed our pre-school and primary programmes last year. We are grateful to our academic support team for all their hard work in getting our systems and policies in good order!
